07 July 2025 – Pulupandan, Negros Occidental. Philippine Statistics Authority - Negros Occidental conducts the Presentation of the 2024 CBMS Preliminary Results of the Municipality of Pulupandan on 04 July 2025 at the Sangguniang Bayan Hall, Municipality of Pulupandan, Negros Occidental.
Local-level Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) is an economic and social tool used by the Local Government Units (LGUs) in the formulation and implementation of poverty alleviation and development programs that are specific, targeted, and responsive to the basic needs of each sector of the community. The CBMS also generates local-level statistics for Local Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) indicators and Multi-dimensional Poverty Index (MPI).
Hon. Mayor Miguel Antonio C. Peña together with the Interim Regional Director John F. Campomanes and staff were present during the Preliminary Data Presentation.
The Presentation of the 2024 CBMS Preliminary Results aims to provide comprehensive insights to data users within the Local Government Unit (LGU) and local planners by identifying initial gaps and areas that require improvement based on collected data. It gives an overview of the critical role of key statistics generated through the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) in formulating responsive programs, policies, and interventions that promote inclusive and sustainable local development.
This will support evidence-based decision-making to effectively prioritize and target sectors and communities that are most in need of assistance.
