The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Siquijor joined the Local Government Unit (LGU) Siquijor in celebrating the 127th Independence Day at the Siquijor Capital Square on June 12, 2025.
PSA Siquijor gladly accepted the invitation from the LGU and took part in the flag-raising ceremony and the program. Many local government offices and community members also attended the event.
The celebration was filled with patriotic songs, speeches, and performances to remember the country’s freedom and history. The PSA’s participation showed their support for the local government and the community.
The event also reminded everyone that independence is not just about freedom from the past but about working together to build a better future for the nation.
LGU Siquijor thanked everyone who joined the event, making the celebration special for the people of Siquijor.
