
14 July 2025 – EL PERGENTINA HOLIDAY BEACH RESORT, TONGO, SIQUIJOR, SIQUIJOR. The Negros Island Region (NIR) is currently holding its first-ever Regional Mid-Year Performance Review from July 14 to 16, 2025, in the scenic province of Siquijor.

Delegates from various provincial and regional statistical offices across Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, and Siquijor are gathered to assess their accomplishments for the first semester of the year, address challenges, and strategize for the remaining months of 2025.
Present during the activity is Interim Regional Director of the Regional Statistical Services Office Negros Island Region (RSSO-NIR), John F. Campomanes, who highlights the importance of unity, integrity, and commitment in shaping the future of the region.
Participants are actively participating in presentations, discussions, and performance workshops that reflect both achievements and areas for growth. The sessions highlight the region’s efforts in survey operations, statistical reporting, data quality, and program implementation.
Siquijor, the host province, provides not only a peaceful venue but also a meaningful setting for this historic gathering. Being the smallest province in the region, Siquijor plays a proud and vital role in fostering collaboration and unity among NIR statistical services offices.
