On 01 July 2025, PSA Negros Oriental led by Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS), Engr. Ariel T. Fortuito, Senior Statistical Specialist (SrSS), Harold Roy V. Infante, and Statistical Specialist II (SS II) Cynthia A. Pohanes presented the preliminary results of the 2024 CBMS of LGU Amlan during the Data Review conducted in the said municipality. It was attended by various Department Heads of the different offices of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Amlan.

Before presenting the preliminary results, SS II Cynthia Pohanes discussed CBMS implementation; its phases and objectives. Meanwhile, Engr. Ariel T. Fortuito emphasized the importance of the 2024 CBMS Data in accordance with the 17 goals of the global Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

SrSS Harold Roy V. Infante presented QGIS mapping, where housing units of senior citizens living alone, and persons with disabilities can be located, including their housing conditions. He also presented the documents needed for the official turnover and ways forward.

Several questions were being raised during the open forum that includes clarifications on unemployment metrics and child labor incidence in the municipality.

Ms. Lalaine J. Songcayauon, the OIC-Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator of Amlan emphasized the importance and relevance of the CBMS data in evidence-based planning and policy making that would give Amlan a better and brighter future.

The said activity concluded with the distribution of tokens and a ceremonial photo, symbolizing a shared commitment between the PSA and the LGU Amlan in transforming data into action.
