About the 2025 Regional CBMS Convention and Data Festival
The Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) has played a crucial role in generating granular, local-level data to support evidence-based policy formulation, governance, and development planning. Despite its significant contributions, challenges persist in fully harnessing its potential for data-driven decision-making, particularly in ensuring the efficient collection, analysis, and application of CBMS data. Recognizing these challenges, the 2025 Regional CBMS Convention and Data Festival (RDaFest), with the theme “Ready, Stat, Go! Building Agile, Resilient, and Future-Ready Filipino Communities through Data-Driven Systems,” will be organized to strengthen the role of CBMS in fostering adaptive and sustainable local development.
This event will serve as a dynamic and collaborative platform for stakeholders across various sectors to exchange insights, showcase innovations, and share best practices in CBMS implementation. By bringing together representatives from national and local government agencies, academic institutions, and civil society organizations, the convention seeks to strengthen multi-sectoral partnerships, enhance local data governance, and optimize the utilization of CBMS data to drive sustainable development goals (SDGs) and inclusive growth at the grassroots level.
OBJECTIVES
To ensure the success and impact of the 2025 Regional CBMS Convention and Data Festival, the following objectives have been identified:
